As you can see in the first pic (far left) this is a clue as to how to decipher the painting's secret clue.

'The Insanity II' is a more intellectual game than the first one. I'm aware that many people will struggle to figure out the puzzles which is why I'll include a walkthrough YouTube video with it's release (with money-making ad's on the page of course bwahahahaaaaa!)

For your information, the Arnolfini Portrait is a *real* picture by the way :-) And is historically known for having many hidden meanings- read about it out on Wikipedia

The demo will be updated shortly with a couple of extra sections. I'll let you guys know when it's out.

Daniele De Rossi Concedes Defeat In Title Race

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi reckons that the Giallorossi have to set the bar a little lower and forget about a Serie A title bid after a goalless draw with AC Milan.

The result leaves the Lupi six points adrift of leaders Inter, who have a game in hand, and the Italian international told the Roma Channel after the match: “We must not lead our fans on. We have done exceptionally well, but we had to win them all in order to catch Inter and that was impossible.

“We are six points behind them, but they are not within our reach for this season. We are just rediscovering our consistency and a concept of team we had misplaced.”

De Rossi led Roma out again last night in the prolonged absence of talisman Francesco Totti, but added: “I hope to be a captain for just a little while, because it would mean that we get an influential and lethal player like Totti back.”

Totti is still on the sidelines with a lingering knee problem and it’s unclear whether he will available for next weekend’s trip to Livorno. (goal.Com/AS)

Indonesia, Australia agree on asylum seeker plan

Indonesia's president and Australia's prime minister said Wednesday they have reached agreement on a plan to stem the flow of asylum seekers who stop in Indonesia before heading for Australian territory - an issue that has increased tension between the countries.

Neither President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono nor Prime Minister Kevin Rudd revealed details of the agreement, but said it involves better cooperation on border and immigration management and prevention of people-smuggling operations. Indonesia also plans to introduce a law this year criminalizing people smuggling, the leaders said.

"The handling of the boat people issue is very complex," Yudhoyono said after meeting with Rudd. "It relates to matters relating to the law, to security and to humanitarian issues - and that is why we need to coordinate and cooperate very closely."

Australia's government has come under increasing pressure domestically to find a solution to the surge in asylum seekers arriving by boat in Australian waters over the past year. Sri Lankans, Afghans and Iraqis seeking a better life in Australia frequently use Indonesia as a launching point for their journey.

The new agreement includes a plan for how asylum seekers will be relocated once they are intercepted by border patrol agents, Yudhoyono said.

"This will enhance and intensify our cooperation on dealing with the complex regional and global challenge," Rudd said.

Yudhoyono said the countries needed to work together to resolve the problem.

"Australia as a destination country and Indonesia as a transit country cannot resolve this issue by ourselves," Yudhoyono said. "Every country must be on board on this."

Yudhoyono, making his first official trip to Australia, was to address both houses of Australia's Parliament later Wednesday, a rare honor generally reserved for the leaders of countries that the government considers of key importance. President Barack Obama is expected to receive the same honor when he visits later this month.

Earlier, Rudd presented Yudhoyono with an Australian-made acoustic guitar on which Yudhoyono's initials were inscribed.

On Tuesday, Governor-General Quentin Bryce awarded Yudhoyono Australia's highest civilian honor for his dedication to improving ties between the countries.

Yudhoyono was to fly from Canberra to Sydney on Wednesday night to meet with business leaders. (thejakartapost.Com/AS)

VP commends police for eliminating long-sought top terrorist

Vice President Boediono here Wednesday expressed appreciation for the National Police`s success in eliminating top terrorist Dulmatin alias Djoko Pitono in a raid in Pamulang, Tangerang, the day before.

"I conveyed the government`s appreciation to the National Police and all other agencies as well as elements of the community that have given their support (to achieve the success)," Boediono said after an unscheduled meeting with National Police Chief General Bambang Hendarso Danuri at his office.

Boediono is running the government while President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is away to make state visits to Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG).

He said Hendarso had reported that in raids at different locations in Pamulang on Tuesday police shot dead three terror suspects, and one of them proved to be the most wanted top militant Dulmatin.

"According to a comprehensive and officially confirmed police report, one of the three dead terror suspects was Dulmatin," Boediono said.

He said the government would continue to tackle the terrorism problem in the country. "We will certainly continue conducting counter-terrorist operations," he added.

Earlier in the day, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at a meeting with Australian Prime Minister Kevin Ruud in Canberra broke the news that long-wanted top terrorist Dulmatin was killed in a police raid in Pamulang, Tangerang. (antara.Com/AS)

Dead Indonesian Terror Suspect is Dulmatin: SBY

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono confirmed Wednesday that suspected terror mastermind Dulmatin had been killed in a police raid near Jakarta.

The President, on a three-day visit to Australia, said a raid against militants hiding out in Pamulang, Tangerang had resulted in the death of the man believed to have been behind the 2002 bombings on the resort island of Bali.

"I have great news to announce to you," Yudhoyono told an official luncheon in Canberra through an interpreter.

"After a successful police raid against a terrorist hiding out in Jakarta... we can confirm that one of those killed was Mr Dulmatin, one of the top Southeast Asian terrorists that we've been looking for."
Dulmatin, an Al-Qaeda-trained bomber, is the suspected mastermind of some of the region's most notorious attacks and the United States' Rewards for Justice program had posted a 10 million US dollar bounty on his head.

He was wanted for allegedly helping organize and carry out Indonesia's most deadly terror attack -- the suicide bombings of two Bali nightclub in 2002 which resulted in the deaths of 202 people, including 88 Australians.

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd had earlier praised Indonesian counter-terrorism forces for their difficult and dangerous work in fighting extremists.

"The breakthroughs which Indonesia has made in undermining various terrorist networks have been significant," Rudd told a joint press conference with the Indonesian leader.

Born in Central Java in 1970, Dulmatin joined a religious boarding school set up by Abu Bakar Bashir, spiritual leader of regional terror network Jemaah Islamiyah, as a young man.

He then then joined an underground regional cell and in the course of his career underwent training in Afghanistan and accumulated an array of aliases, including Joko Pitoyo, Joko Pitono, Abdul Matin and Muktarmar.

The event for which he is infamous is the 2002 Bali bombings which sent shockwaves around the world, coming after the September 11 attacks in the United States the previous year.

Following the bombing of Jakarta's JW Marriott hotel in August 2003 Dulmatin fled to the southern Philippine island of Mindanao, another centre of Islamic militancy in the region.

In 2008, Philippine military officials said they believed Dulmatin's body had been exhumed on the southern Philippine island of Tawi-Tawi. (thejakartagloge.Com/AS)

Luca Toni Happy To Remain At Roma

The towering striker would like to stay with the Giallorossi after his loan spell finishes in June...

Luca Toni has expressed his desire to stay at Roma once his loan deal expires at the end of the season.
Toni's only focus at the moment is to impress the Lupi hierarchy into keeping him by scoring goals, which may convince Italy coach Marcello Lippi to take him to the World Cup.

"I am doing well here in Rome. I have a great rapport with the club and with the fans," the 32-year-old stated to Corriere Dello Sport. "I will do everything I can to stay here in the future.

"All that I have to think about is playing well and scoring goals. This is my objective over the next two months.

"We shall see what happens after that, but my will is to stay here and play for the Roma jersey.

"I don't think that I am a confirmed person for South Africa. I just want to give it my all here at Roma, and leave it up to Lippi to decide," added Toni.

The former Fiorentina and Palermo player has a contract with Bayern Munich, and has been on loan to Roma since January. (Goal.Com/AS)

Weh Island

Weh Island or Pulau Weh or Pulo Weh (by the local population commonly referred to only as "Sabang", the name of the largest city) is a small active volcanic island to the northwest of Sumatra. It was originally connected to the Sumatran mainland and became separated by sea after the volcano's last eruption in the Pleistocene era.[1] The island is situated in the Andaman Sea. The largest city on the island, Sabang, is the westernmost outpost of Indonesia.

The island is known for its ecosystem; the Indonesian government has declared 60 square kilometres (23 sq mi) of inland and sea around the island as a wildlife protection area. A rare megamouth shark species was found on shore and the island is the only habitat for the threatened toad, Bufo valhallae (genus Bufo). Coral reef areas around the island are known for their large variety of fish species.

Weh Island is located in the Andaman Sea, where two groups of islands, the Nicobar Islands and Andaman Islands, are scattered in one line from Sumatra to the north up to the Burma plate. The Andaman Sea lies on an active moving small tectonic plate (microplate). A complex geological fault system and volcanic arc islands have been created along the length of the sea by the movement of the microplate.[2]

The island lies about 15 kilometres (9 mi) off the northernmost tip of Sumatra. The island is small at only 156.3 square kilometres (60.3 sq mi), but mountainous. The highest peak is a fumarolic volcano, 617 metres (2,020 ft) high.[1] The last known eruption is estimated to have occurred in the Pleistocene age, as a result which the mountain partially collapsed and was filled by the sea, forming a separate island.

At a depth of 9 metres (30 ft), close to Sabang city, underwater fumaroles emerge from the seabed.[3] A volcanic cone is found in the jungle. There are three solfatara (mudpot) fields on the island: one is 750 metres (0.5 mi) southeast of the summit and the others are 5 kilometres (3 mi) and 11.5 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of the summit, on the western shore of Lhok Perialakot bay.

There are four islets surrounding Weh Island: Klah, Rubiah, Seulako, and Rondo. Among those, Rubiah is well known for diving tourism, because of its coral reefs. When traveling to Saudi Arabia was only possible by sea, Rubiah was used as a place of quarantine for Indonesian Muslims during the Hajj pilgrimage season. (Wikipedia/AS)

Top 10 Tips for New Bloggers From Original Blogger Jorn Barger

Editor's note: Jorn Barger of Robot Wisdom coined the term "weblog" Dec. 17, 1997 -- 10 years ago Monday -- to describe the daily list of links that "logged" his travels across the web.

Barger's blog and essays on James Joyce and AI have earned high praise, but his opinions about Israeli policy have led to accusations of anti-semitism (see Wikipedia). In the decade hence, Barger feels that he's gained some wisdom of his own about blogging. Here are Barger's top 10 tips for novice bloggers.

My intent for weblogs in 1997 was to make the web as a whole more transparent, via a sort of "mesh network," where each weblog amplifies just those signals (or links) its author likes best. 1998-1999 was for me the Golden Age of Weblogs, when the following principles were widely understood:

1. A true weblog is a log of all the URLs you want to save or share. (So del.icio.us is actually better for blogging than blogger.com.)

2. You can certainly include links to your original thoughts, posted elsewhere … but if you have more original posts than links, you probably need to learn some humility.

3. If you spend a little time searching before you post, you can probably find your idea well articulated elsewhere already.

4. Being truly yourself is always hipper than suppressing a link just because it's not trendy enough. Your readers need to get to know you.

5. You can always improve on the author's own page title, when describing a link. (At least make sure your description is full enough that readers will recognize any pages they've already visited, without having to visit them again.)

6. Always include some adjective describing your own reaction to the linked page (great, useful, imaginative, clever, etc.)

7. Credit the source that led you to it, so your readers have the option of "moving upstream."

8. Warn about "gotchas" -- weird formatting, multipage stories, extra-long files, etc. Don't camouflage the main link among unneeded (or poorly labeled) auxiliary links.

9. Pick some favorite authors or celebrities and create a Google News feed that tracks new mentions of them, so other fans can follow them via your weblog.

10. Re-post your favorite links from time to time, for people who missed them the first time. (wired.Com/AS)

Simpang Gumul Monument, Kediri - East Java

The "Simpang Gumul" monument is placed in Gumul, Kediri, a small area in East Java, where planned and build some roads around giant circle, marked with a huge monument, almost the size of 1/3 of an ordinary mall. First when seeing this building, the monumental appearance is incredible. Not only because of size, but also its interesting shape. Placed in a small city, this monument building attracts many visitors, even when it is not functioned yet as a formal place. This is because roads are not yet finished (when we went there around June 2007)

The Gumul area, a regency in Kediri, seen from the top of the monument. We can see the roads and parks not yet finished. But the monument object had attracted many visitors from around Gumul and other cities.

The huge space makes visitors feel small.

When entering the building area, we can feel how small we are between the pillars. Looking up, examining the environment, between such scale (in small city) we are forced to comprehend our presence. This is a 6 level building, with auditorium room for gathering at the top of the building, completed with a dome.

The interior part of the monument.

Examining this building, we can conclude some points:

- First, it become a very strong mark for a regency where the society is not much developed, but it is starting to develop along with the coming of media like TV broadcast.

- Second, the strong mark is like a 'mall' for the surrounding area, this shows how government cares about making city landmark.

- Third, it is questioned, compared with Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France (yes, we know)
With the presence of this monument, as a mark and point of interest of the city's center point, it seems the local government has paid big attention to how the city will develop in the future. It is already felt that the presence has huge impact. But it is also a question for the government; is it necessary to build such monument, while other more important infrastructure of the city is not yet build?

A monument in Kediri city, seen from the roof of Simpang Gumul monument, is a mosque tower in the middle of the city, that is 100 meters tall, is the higest mark in Kediri. The monumentality of the building seems to be an anomaly between other buildings.

There is similarity between this building and Arc de Triomphe in Paris, which we question. Can it be an effort to repeat a success of a monument somewhere else into the site? We can not find big differences, just small different details, like details, which are new. It is also different because it is 4 sided.

Monument Arc de Triomphe in Paris. There is similarity of scale, building facade tipology with Simpang Lima Gumul monument.

The Indonesian style and locality appear strongly on the detail and appearance which doesn't show vitality, but humble with local government's rethorics, even we can still feel the monumental appearance of the building.

Relief of the Arc the Triomphe in Paris shows vitality of European mindset, to celebrate the glory of Napoleon, while in the Simpang Lima monument, the relief doesn't show so much vitality, but simple way of life of the people and government's rethorics.

It is quite obvious that ecclecticism is very strong nearly 'relocating' a masterpiece from one place to others. Is it because modernism has coming into the local government? Or is it a way to repeat a success of a strong landmark that is known worldwide?

How can it be understood by the simple society around the area? This is the big question, because the society in this place is not sophisticated to question critically what happen around them. (astudio/AS)

Roma Star Francesco Totti Voted Best Active Italian Player

‘Er Pupone’ is now even more eager to return to action and justify the results of the poll.

Roma captain Francesco Totti has been voted the best active Italian player in a poll conducted by La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.

100 Italian personalities, including footballers, politicians and showmen, took part in the vote and Totti came out on top, with Roma team-mate Daniele De Rossi in second place and Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo in third.

“I was very pleased to read the results,” Totti told the pink daily.

“I’m very happy that I was voted top, particularly because the poll was made by asking the opinions of 100 people who represent different worlds.

“To receive this accolade will be an added motivation to get back to action quickly so that whoever voted for me will not have second thoughts.

“Had I been asked the same question, I would have certainly voted for [Gianluigi] Buffon or Daniele De Rossi, who is my team-mate but also a friend.”

Totti has been sidelined with a knee problem since February 14 and is unlikely to be available for Sunday’s crunch Serie A match with Milan at the Olimpico. (Goal.Com/AS)

Daniele De Rossi Suffers Sprained Ankle During Italy Training - Report

Daniele De Rossi suffered a sprained ankle during Italy's Tuesday training session, but he should be in contention to play Cameroon.

Sky Sport Italia claim the Roma midfielder went down during an XI against XI match as coach Marcello Lippi tested a 3-4-3 formation.

The news from Coverciano is that De Rossi came off with a problem, but it's not thought to be serious enough to rule him out of tomorrow's friendly in Monaco.

The players that took part in the final session were Federico Marchetti in goal, a three man defence with Leonardo Bonucci, Fabio Cannavaro and Giorgio Chiellini.

In midfield were Christian Maggio, Andrea Pirlo, Daniele De Rossi, and Domenico Criscito. Antonio Di Natale, Andrea Cossu and Marco Borriello were the front three.

It is expected this is the team and formation that will play Cameroon if De Rossi is passed fit to play following his minor problem. (Goal.Com/AS)

Aceh’s Tsunami Museum Fails To Meet Festival Expectations

Banda Aceh. Plans for this week’s fifth Aceh Cultural Festival received a tremendous boost with the official opening of the tsunami museum, but the threadbare exhibits of the $5.6 million landmark building has disappointed attendees.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officially opened the 2,500-square-meter “Rumoh Aceh [traditional Aceh house] at Escape Hill,” in February, with the Aceh-Nias Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency (BRR), which facilitated the construction of the building, stating at the time that the museum’s content would be supplied by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Aceh’s local government would provide additional attractions such as art displays and cultural performances.

Six months on, however, it seems unlikely that the ministry will complete its side of the deal by 2010, as promised.

R Sukhyar, a senior official with the ministry, acknowledged during the ceremony on Sunday that it was responsible for providing all the material to document the tsunami tragedy, in what was “the most luxurious museum in Indonesia.”

Sukhyar said the ministry was also responsible for running the museum in association with the local government and said there were problems with its plans to complete the displays by next year.

“We don’t know yet how much funding is needed to outfit the whole museum. We predicted it would be tens of billions [of rupiah],” he said. “The arrangement must involve all sides.”

He said the museum was a dynamic project, which was a reflection of society in general, and as such, updating attractions would be carried out by the Aceh government.

Exhibits included displays of photographs donated by various organizations, with some pictures bearing graphic testimony to the disaster that ripped the province apart on Dec. 26, 2004.

There were also paintings related to the disaster by a number of Acehnese painters, including Mahdi Abdullah and Round Kelana. The audio-visual theater played a documentary on the tsunami and its aftermath.

Aceh Vice Governor Muhammad Nazar, in his opening address, said the government was committed to ensuring the museum featured a variety of attractions, as demonstrated by the art and photographic exhibition that will be hosted throughout the Aceh Cultural Festival, which runs until Tuesday.

“The tsunami museum must be organized professionally. The [local] government’s ability to run the museum is very limited,” he said, adding that all museums in Aceh should become attractions for the tourism industry, which would benefit local people and support leducation and research.

Yudhoyono was expected to officially launch the festival on Sunday, but due to a reported scheduling conflict will arrive in Aceh today instead.(thejakartaglobe.Com/AS)
